Morningstar community swimming pool resumes operations for summer

The City of Cape Town’s Recreation and Parks Department together with the Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services and Ward 112 Councillor, Alderman Theresa Uys, visited the Morningstar community swimming pool, as part of a phased resumption of this community’s swimming pool.

‘It’s a great pleasure that the swimming pool has reopened in Morningstar. I’d like to thank Councillor Patricia van der Ross and her Executive Director, Zukiswa Mandlana, for their efforts in ensuring that the pool has now opened. To the residents of Morningstar, I hope that you enjoy this pool. Please use the pool safely and happily,’ said Alderman Theresa Uys.
